⚑ Rulebook review — contradictions & overlaps to settle first

  • Trade deadline conflicts with itself. Art. XIV says Wednesday entering Week 12 = "Nov 19th"; Art. XX says "12 AM Wednesday Nov 20th." Different day and 12 AM vs 12 PM. This is Exhibit A for T5.
  • Two trade paths overlap. Art. XIV runs a 24-hr auto-process hold and a 7-vote push in one paragraph, and says a 7-vote trade is "granted at the time of the vote" but also "pushed by DMs within 24 hrs." That's T2 + T3.
  • Y1 may already exist. Art. III already pays the weekly high score (the "Murkin's"). Confirm whether Y1 adds a season-total-points payout or just reaffirms it.
  • P2 & P3 both soften Art. X. Decide if P3 (bench next game, no point docking) fully replaces the −5/−10/−15 chart, or just for lineup infractions.
  • Voting bar (Art. IX): each change needs unanimous 3 DMs or 7 league votes. Scoring/roster (ESPN) changes especially. First-year managers can't vote in the offseason.
Each card shows the current rule it changes. Tap a status to record the decision, use −/+ to log the vote, jot notes. Saves automatically. Marc = Marc's proposal.

Season timeline

Dates per Art. XX
Locked to your constitution's meeting calendar (Art. XX) with real 2026 dates. Check items off — it all saves. Add your own at the bottom.
Draft Day: Sunday, Sep 6, 2026, 5 PM ET (Art. XX). NFL Week 1 kicks off Thu Sep 10. Countdown is live up top.

Draft mechanics

Art. VII · VIII · XV
Per the constitution
  • When: Sunday of Labor Day weekend, Sep 6, 2026, 5 PM ET, on ESPN.
  • Format: snake, 120 sec/pick, keepers entered first, auto-selection if the clock runs out. No auto-draft (Commandment VIII).
  • Pre-draft — set the 2026 order (Art. VII): reverse of championship results + regular-season point differential. Needs last season's final results — flag me and I'll build the order.
  • Keepers (Art. XV + proposal R1): 2 per team (1 off / 1 def), submitted in ESPN by the DM deadline, forfeiting the correct rounds. R1 would add a public announcement.

Standings

2025 final · placeholder for live ESPN data
Recorded from your divisional standings screenshot — regular-season records only, no champion or playoff results yet, so the 2026 draft order (Art. VII) stays on hold until reactivation gives us final results + differentials. This table is shaped to swap in live 2026 scores from ESPN (league 223800) once the season starts.

Where we draft

Boston · 10–12 · Sun Sep 6 · all options
Every draft-room option on the table, grouped by type — nothing decided, all here for review. The draft runs online on ESPN, so the non-negotiables are solid wi-fi + a screen or projector to cast the board and room for 10–12 who'll be there for hours on a Sunday evening. Food works either way: the private halls let you cook tacos on-site, the bars & breweries you'd cater in or order off the menu. Tap a name to open its site, tap ☆ to flag any you like. All mapped in the chat.

Master brand prompt — paste this on top

"Build a fantasy-football league website for BongPong Singalong (BPSA), 12 teams, est. long-running friends league. 2026 theme: 'The Soft Era Is Over' — the vibe is gritty, rowdy, and irreverent, NOT corporate. Palette: near-black steel, deep field-green, BPSA neon-green (#39d353), penalty-flag yellow (#ffd23f), red crest accents. Type: a bold condensed athletic display face (jersey/scoreboard feel) + a clean readable body. Signature: the BPSA shield crest as the anchor. Build these pages: [paste the 9 above]. Tone of copy: locker-room humor, but the rulebook page stays clean and legible."

Say the word and I'll also build a real working v1 myself in this same skin — the brief above is for when you'd rather drive an AI site builder.

Segment outline — "The Soft Era Is Over"

  • Cold open — title card, generated intro: the league went soft… not anymore.
  • Last season recap — champion crowned, trophy raised.
  • Blowout reel — the 100+ Gaping Assholes + song clips (Art. XIX).
  • Punishment reel — One Chip, the tattoos… then tease the new one: barefoot down Broadway (P1).
  • The 10 Commandments — motion-graphic, tongue-in-cheek.
  • Keeper reveals + draft order — set up Sep 6.
  • Outro — 2026 theme card + draft date.

Confirm the segments (add/cut any) and I'll write the full narration + shot list next.

⚑ The honest baseline on ESPN + iMessage

No official ESPN API or one-click connector exists. A bot can read league 223800 — rosters, scores, transactions, standings — through the community ESPN API using your league's espn_s2 and SWID cookies. Those cookies are login credentials, so they live in your script's environment — you never paste them to me. The bot cannot reach into ESPN to auto-approve trades or set lineups; it's a referee that blows the whistle, and a human acts (per T1, not a DM on their own deal).

iMessage is the catch. Apple has no bot API, so a true always-on bot can't post to iMessage cleanly. Realistic split: for now I generate the weekly report and you paste it into the group thread; if you want it fully automated and answering questions live, that's the one reason to move the league chat to Discord or GroupMe, where bots are natively supported.

The Rules Oracle

Ready now
Live the moment rules pass

Ask-me-anything on the rulebook

I've now read the whole 2025 constitution. Load me with the passed 2026 changes and I settle "is this legal?" disputes with a citation to the exact article — Rob Rule timing, IR penalties, the 1 PM declare window, keeper rounds, trade windows, toilet-bowl eligibility. Zero code. This is Phase 1 of the agent.

The Commissioner Bot · League Police

Phased build
Read + notify, not auto-enforce
Phase 1

Rules Oracle

Manual Q&A + rulings from the constitution. Works today, no setup.

Phase 2

Weekly Police Report

A script pulls the week (espn_s2 + SWID) and I flag Art. X violations: open slots, undeclared OUT starters, IR-playing penalties, the 2-open-slot rule, plus Gaping Asshole (100+) and "No Hope" status.

Phase 3

Live Bot

Fully automated in the chat — answers rules questions on demand, auto-posts the weekly report, watches the 1-hr trade rule (Art. XIV). Needs Discord/GroupMe; not possible on iMessage.

Status: League ID 223800 ✓. Phases 1–2 work today on iMessage (I generate, you paste). Phase 3 is the only piece that wants a chat switch. When you're ready for Phase 2, you'll drop your espn_s2 / SWID cookies into a script on your machine — they stay with you.

Tacos — cater or cook

Taco plan

Catered: Naco Taco party truck (does event catering — book it, don't walk up) or El Jefe's build-your-own trays.

Cook your own: grill them on-site at a private space (below).

Draft HQ · wi-fi + screen required

Southie Event Space ★ if cooking

Private hall to cook the tacos and host the 5 PM ESPN draft — you control the wi-fi and can throw the board on a projector. And it's on West Broadway (barefoot, anyone?).

Catering instead? Draft at a sports bar — The Sporting Club or Game On! — just confirm strong wi-fi for the online draft.

Draft is online on ESPN at 5 PM ET per Art. XX — the room just needs wi-fi, a screen, and tacos. Map + all links are in the chat.
